Welcome to the Learning Page
While you are waiting for actual content on this page, I thought I would
share a few links with you...
- How Stuff Works -
Did a kid ask you a question that totally stumped you today? The answer might
be here. The site covers a wide variety of topics from financial to scientific
to everyday knowledge.
- Classical Free -
This site is billed as the "world's only real-time classical Christian academy."
I mention it because my friend, Bob, is the webmaster. They are doing some
very exciting things that bring great value to homeschooled children. There
is a well-defined protestant Christian philosophy at the site, so it is
definitely targeted for a certain audience; but I think non-adherents might
gain some value from the site nonetheless. Here at Snabulus, we are more
eclectic so expect a diversity of perspectives here.
- Library in the Sky -
This is a database of educational websites. The site is the work of the
Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory. I haven't played with it much,
but it looks pretty cool.
